Honeybees, native bee populations and other pollinators have been facing challenges for decades. Most of these challenges are caused by us humans. The widespread use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, depletion of native habitats, loss of abundance of native foliage and the widespread practice of mono-agriculture are some of them. We have answered the call from Our Heavenly Father and made a commitment to serve these amazing beings that serve us and are vital to human survival. Native pollinators rely upon native habitats and foliage to sustain themselves. Since we've chosen to practice Natural Sustainable Beekeeping and not conventional or commercial beekeeping, our honeybees also rely upon surrounding foliage. Honeybees get the proper nutrition that they need from the nectar and pollen they collect. It is what they were designed to eat. We are committed to being mindful of and maintaining balance of the ecosystem in our apiaries all across Citrus County. Too many honeybee colonies in one location can wreak havoc for not only them, but our native pollinators. We want our honeybees to live and thrive with our native pollinators, not create or be a source of stress or create competition for them. We love educating our community about how important all of these amazing creatures are and to encourage others to help them by planting native foliage and discontinuing the use of weed killers and other harmful chemicals. We do provide live honeybee removal and relocation services within Citrus County. Please contact us if you are interested in obtaining a free estimate for our honeybee removal services. We appreciate your support of our mission of preserving our local pollinator population. Thank you!
